About Guruji

Paramhans Gyaneshwar or Guruji as we all disciples fondly call him by is a True Master who attained self-realisation at the age of 36. His teachings are profound yet simple and beautifully tailored to the seeker asking the question. He doesn't prescribe one common or fixed sadhana (spiritual practice) thus guiding seekers on their unique paths. He often says, "If someone wants to come to your house one of the first things you will ask is, where are you coming from?".  And the directions you will guide that person is based on that answer. Similarly the sadhana that will truly bring about progress and growth for the seeker is a function of where he/she is in their life/ being and hence needs to be unique to that person.

An ayurvedic doctor by profession, he resides at Shri Awadhoot Ashram, Kurukshetra with his family and a few disciples. The doors to the ashram are always open for anyone who is seeking Satya (Truth) and Anand (Bliss).
